Meet the Planner

I first fell in love with this industry while studying special events at Clemson University. While obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree, I had the opportunity to intern for a Wedding Planner in Orlando, Florida. I loved every minute of it! I continued to gain my event experience by coordinating student activities at Clemson and went on to graduate May 2007. After obtaining more work experience in the Charleston and Brunswick County region, I decided it was time to go off on my own…

Since 2010, my wedding planning business has continued to grow. I have enjoyed building lasting relationships with my clients while being there every step of the way. Through this process, I have found that my niche is in Full Service Coordination & Design. It allows me to spend more time with each client while coordinating all of the small details.

On a more personal note, I grew up in Maryland, only a short drive from busy DC & Baltimore. I had fallen in love with the south from a young age while vacationing each year at Sunset Beach, NC and Charleston, SC. After graduation, I became a tiger and attended Clemson University. I moved to Ocean Isle Beach in 2008, where I met my husband and we started a family. We love spending time with our son Parker, and our dog, Maggie, whether just spending time together at home or out and about in the community.

This photo was taken on our wedding day in Sunset Beach, September 2, 2011. I love this photo taken by our dear friend and talented Photographer, Chris Campbell of Giving Weddings, as it perfectly captured my serene mood that day while walking down the aisle. And yes, I did plan my own wedding. :)

There is really nothing negative I can say about working with Megan Masser. I was a long distance bride and had to rely on her heavily. Not only was she always available for me, but she made my wedding planning experience truly joyful. She was full of suggestions and ideas and made sure that my wedding was far beyond anything I could have dreamed of. I cannot sing her praises enough and highly recommend her to any bride who wants to have the wedding of her dreams. – Caroline, September 2011
